Good Friday is an important day in the Manchester social calendar, it marks the famous Manchester Duck Race, now in it’s 4th year. On 29th March, 1000s of yellow rubber ducks will take to the river, with proceeds going to Brainwave – a charity who provide invaluable support to children with disabilities and special needs across the UK and Ireland.
We were honoured to work with Spinningfields on this project, bringing their ducks to life across digital and print. We’ll be sticking our beaks in and will definitely be entering a duck in the corporate race. The corporate race sees giant ducks race down the River Irwell. Ducks cost £200 (plus VAT) to enter, and you can also decorate or brand your duck – there’s even a best dressed contest, so get designing those ducks!
Anyone can enter the family race with the small rubber ducks, each duck entry is just £1. With a jam-packed afternoon of activity planned, and all proceeds going to an amazing cause – get on your marks, get set and GO!
